Our history
Once upon a time, there were two young broads, Charlene hates the term old broads, at a spring horse show…There we were, lamenting over the pounds of “winter coat” we had put on and how unattractive we would be in our breeches. I told Charlene, “Well, that’s why we are lucky we both ride big horses,” as a young girl trotted by without an ounce of cellulite on her. Charlene said, “So that our butts look smaller!” I laughed and said, “I am getting that put on a shirt!” BEHOLD Buy A Bigger Horse was born!
Charlene and I are excited to have you join us in our new adventure! We intend to share our never-ending sarcasm and wit with our equestrian peers. Combined, we have over a hundred years of showing horses in many disciplines and are excited to “share” our unique style.
Our website and products will evolve as we grow, and we hope to take each and every one of you on our journey. We also plan on supporting horse rescues and humans that love donkeys, mules, and horses!
